Although the Faulkner County Quorum Court took no action during its nearly two-an-half-hour informal meeting Tuesday to discuss unfinished business, it felt like progress was made.
Rather than the feeling of a tug-of-war between the “new” officials — the county judge and five justices of the peace were elected in 2014 and sworn in Jan. 1 — and the experienced JPs, the meeting Tuesday included some self-deprecating remarks from each side and plenty of laughter from everyone in attendance.
